Continued stewardship of The Lincoln Old Town Hall relies on charitable donations. We receive no tax dollars, and your ongoing generosity ensures that this living piece of Lincoln's past can stay vital and relevant into the future.
The Old Town Hall is not maintained by tax dollars or CPA funds — rather, its care is entrusted to the Lincoln Old Town Hall Corporation, an entirely volunteer-run, non-profit organization. The building’s preservation depends upon the generosity of those who recognize how much this very special building means to Lincoln.
Many capital improvements are undertaken to keep this building thriving. Recent improvements include a complete de-leading and repainting of the building’s exterior, replacement of the front column bases in Spanish cedar, new gutters and downspouts, installation of high efficiency LED interior and exterior lighting, interior painting and window work. The lawns need to be cut, snow must be plowed and there are always old pipes that need attention. In short, we can’t take care of the Old Town Hall without your support.
