The Old Town Hall is not maintained by tax dollars or CPA funds—rather, its care is entrusted to the Lincoln Old Town Hall Corporation, an entirely volunteer-run, non-profit organization. The building’s preservation depends upon the generosity of those who recognize that this building is the physical center of the spirit that is Lincoln.
Many capital improvements are undertaken to keep this building thriving. Recent improvements include a complete de-leading and repainting of the building’s exterior, replacement of the front column bases in Spanish cedar, new gutters and downspouts, installation of high efficiency LED interior and exterior lighting, interior painting and window work. The lawns need to be cut, snow must be plowed and there are always old pipes that need attention. It’s a labor of love.
Please contribute generously to the Annual Appeal, volunteer, and visit often. The Lincoln Old Town Hall Corporation is a 501(c)3 entity. Your gift is entirely tax-deductible to the fullest extent provided by law.
